Merit Health Central
Merit Health Central is a 319-bed health care facility offering a wide range of services provided in a safe, caring, environment. Core services include diagnostic and surgical cardiac services, obstetrics and women's health, cancer care, emergency department with FastTrack, orthopedics, inpatient adult behavioral health services, neurosurgery and general surgical services. Merit Health Central is home to Mississippi's first non-invasive stereotactic radiosurgery and only designated burn center and is one of the first hospitals in the nation to add a PET/CT. Psychiatry residents will complete their emergency medicine, emergency psychiatry, consult-liaison, and neurology rotations in this community hospital.
Region 8 Mental Health Services
Region 8 Mental Health Services has provided mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities and addiction services to our five county region for over 30 years. Serving nearly 20,000 patients annually, Region 8 specializes in intensive outpatient programs, residential treatment programs, day treatment programs and other mental health services. Treating both adults and children, Region 8 has a 24-hour mobile crisis response team that provides community-based behavioral crisis services to the region.
Region 9 Hinds Behavioral Health Services
Region 9 Hinds Behavioral Health Services has been serving the citizens of Hinds County for over 45 years. Specializing in community mental health services for adults, children and youth, families, elderly, and those with chemical dependencies and substance use. Region 9 runs a 24/7 mobile crisis unit for Hinds County residents as well as numerous community education and training programs including parenting courses, alcohol and drug prevention and mental health first aid courses. Residents will participate in treating patients in Region 9's community programs.
St. Dominic Memorial Hospital
St. Dominic Memorial Hospital is a 571-bed tertiary care hospital located in Jackson, Mississippi, serving all of central Mississippi and employs approximately 3,000 employees inclusive of nurses, physicians, and skilled caregivers. The medical staff, of nearly 500 leading physicians and specialists, makes St. Dominic’s one of the most comprehensive hospitals in Mississippi. Through over seven decades, St. Dominic’s has remained true to its vision – a Christian healing community called to provide quality, compassionate care, and an exceptional experience every time. Psychiatry residents will complete consult-liaison psychiatry and other elective psychiatry rotations in the behavioral health services division of this community hospital.

Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, ranked the #1 Best Regional Hospital in Mississippi by U.S. News & World Report in the 2022-2023 Best Hospital Rankings, is a general medical and surgical facility located in Jackson, MS. The hospital houses modern facilities including Baptist Cancer Center and a six-level tower housing the Cardiovascular Center and Baptist for Women. In addition, the hospital is home to numerous specialties including pediatric services, gastroenterology, long-term acute care, psychiatry and behavioral health, neuroscience, orthopedic and general surgery. Gateway Behavioral Health
Gateway Behavioral Health Services is a premier provider of behavioral health and chemical dependency treatment in Jackson, Mississippi and surrounding areas. By offering a therapeutic environment for patients of all ages, the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an outpatient service targeted to patients with impairments requiring more advanced interventions than can be provided on a typical outpatient basis. The program offers an alternative to hospitalization while providing structured, goal-oriented, and all-inclusive care. Partial Hospitalization programs can serve as a transitional step between the hospital and private or residential setting.

Precise's experienced and highly trained psychiatric team consists of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, Social Workers, and Sleep Specialists all located conveniently in Flowood, Mississippi. Precise offers diagnosis and treatment in a variety of psychiatric conditions.
